Understand that this particular post has a lot of value associated with it. Mr.Connector asked me specifically to come to the hotel and speak to you. I’ve gotten to know him very well and I’ve helped him on his journey to success.
And I can help you too. Only if you’ll listen to reason. Now I’m going to cover 4 important areas that you have to understand to take your life to another level. These 4 areas are: What do you want? What are you willing to give up? Associate with the right people. Plan the work. Work the plan. I will then give you a conclusion and what to do next.
What do you want? Is there something you want in life? What is it? It could a new home, a nice car, to travel the world, a new wardrobe, to get out of debt, to pay off student loans, to pay off credit card debt, or it could be to give to charities, to donate for school equipment, to build better schools, to start a scholarship fund, to save up for your children’s education, it could be anything. But you must know what…you…want. Without knowing that, you can’t meet opportunity.
There are 3 types of people in this situation. The people who just want to survive; the people who settle; the people who want more out of life. Which person are you? Only one of these people will get to meet me, opportunity. Why, because there looking for more out of life, so they are searching for opportunities to achieve their goals and dreams. That’s why. And that’s who I’m looking for. I only spend my time with people who are looking.
What are you willing to give up? 95% of the people in the world aren’t willing to give anything up, because they want it now. A wise man once told me that nothing worth being committed for comes now. It takes time for a commitment to be worth a lot. You have to work at it all the time and NEVER quit. But the problem is, people quit when they don’t see the benefit of their labor, right away. I’m not looking for them, and they will not meet opportunity with that mind-set.
Are you willing to give up personal time, to help others? Are you willing to give up personal time to help yourself? Are you willing to give up hobbies to create a secure future for you and your family? For me to work with Mr.Connector, he decided to give up all the things that were not securing his future. He gave up the attitude that I have to have it now, and developed the attitude that I’ll receive it later, but when I do; it will last my life, the life of my children, and the life of my children’s children. Now that my friends is what we call leaving a legacy.
Associate with the right people. Who are the 6 people you hang out with? Are they helping you gain success or are they hindering you from success? Again their is 3 types of people: The people who want you to succeed, the people who don’t want your success, and the people who are neutral and won’t do either. Let’s start with them. They don’t care enough either way about you success, because there in their own world. Why would you associate with them? How can they help you? The people who don’t want your success, is because they don’t believe in success for themselves. and when you start telling them about yours, they just want to pull you down. Crabs in a bucket.
Now for the people who want you to succeed, have all met opportunity. They understand that success comes from not only helping people, but bringing out the best in people. These people all have similar interests and a common goal: to be successful. If that’s what your looking for, those are the people you should be associating with. And they have the opportunity of this lifetime.
Plan the work, and work the plan. After you have made the decision to move forward on the first 3 areas, this is the area where you choose the vehicle to get you there. And most importantly, you get to meet me, opportunity of this lifetime. Let me start with this: What does you future look like? Where will your future take you in the next 5 years? Who are you spending your future with? When do you want to have the official future of your lifetime? How are you going to spend your future?
You can either know and remember what you want, or you can be disciplined. It’s your choice. You can continue to be told when to get up, what to wear, what time you have to leave, how long your day is going to be, when you can go on break, how many days you can have off, where to live, what kind of car you can drive, and how much your paycheck is. When you know that doesn’t even come close to what your worth. Have you ever thought about how valuable you are? The opportunity of this lifetime is remembering what you want, and going and getting it. While being disciplined is more than likely something you don’t want. You have some decisions to make.
Get back with Mr.Connector when you decide on these 4 areas. Then the next step is to meet opportunity of this lifetime. Your future is at stake.
